Plymouth Gin prides itself on being a brand that is centuries old, has a wealth of heritage and history and stands at the forefront of its market. Working collaboratively with the Master Distiller and Brand Manager, we set about the challenge of showcasing the hidden stories that have formed this historically rich brand.
We developed a type system that echoed the brand’s belief in craft, combining two typefaces to create contrast and focus on key works relevant to the stories being told.
We took key subjects from Plymouth Gin’s history, and topics commonly used when marketing products, and built an icon kit that’s unique to the brand.
